CamelsCamels(Camelus) are one of the most well known autotrophs that live in the Sahara. There are many types of camels this type of camel is a dromedary camels and these camels have only one hump, thrive in dry desert conditions, and can survive up to 17 days without water. The niche of Camels is to graze and eat shubs,bushes, and they can even digest thorns. This organisms relates with other organisms by providing decompsers with waste to eat. This type of relationship is called comensalism.

North African GerbilThe North African Gerbil(Gebillus Campestris) have adapted to their environment by developing darker colored fur as camouflage and white fur on its belly. These gerbils live under rocks to avoid being captured by birds. The North African Gerbil's niche is to eat grasses, nuts and other things and be prey to snakes and other predators. This organism relates with other animals by consuming insect. This relationship is kind of like parasitism but in this case the Gerbil doesn't live on or in its prey.

The niche of the Fennec Fox is to hunt birds, rodents, and insects while browsing the desert. This organism relates with other organisms by consuming them. This relationship is similar to parasitism but this organism doesn't live in or on its prey.
